Fascination
What keeps us at the bench: a 70s turntable whose drive belt can still be replaced. A home computer that boots again after swapping one capacitor. A VHS tape with family memories that would otherwise have dissolved.

Progress
Repair preserves more than the device. It preserves the knowledge of how it works. We pass that on in our workshops, starting at the first solder joint.
