Terms and conditions
These terms and conditions (T&Cs) govern the relationship between Enter Classic Technics AG and its customers for orders placed in the online shop and for services arranged through ect.ch.

Note: this text is a template. Please have it reviewed by a Swiss lawyer before you rely on it in production.
1. Scope
These T&Cs apply to all orders placed via the online shop at ect.ch and to all related services provided by Enter Classic Technics AG, Gewerbestrasse 4, 4552 Derendingen ("we" or "ECT").
Diverging terms from the customer apply only if we have expressly agreed to them in writing.
The version in force at the time of the order is decisive. We reserve the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. For ongoing contracts, the terms in force at the time of the order continue to apply.
2. Contracting party
Your contracting party is Enter Classic Technics AG, based at Gewerbestrasse 4, 4552 Derendingen, Switzerland. It is registered in the commercial register of the Canton of Solothurn under [Handelsregister-Nummer] and with the Swiss VAT authorities under [UID-CHE-XXX.XXX.XXX MWST].
3. Conclusion of contract
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a binding offer; it is an invitation to you to submit an offer.
By submitting an order, you make a binding offer to conclude a contract of sale. We will confirm receipt of your order by email without delay. This confirmation of receipt does not yet constitute acceptance of your offer.
The contract of sale is concluded when Enter Classic Technics AG sends you an order confirmation by email, and at the latest when we ship the goods. We reserve the right to reject an order without giving reasons, for example if a product is no longer available or if there are well-founded doubts about the customer's identity.
4. Prices and VAT
All prices in the online shop are in Swiss francs (CHF) and include statutory value-added tax where it is due. Example price: CHF 25.00.
Any shipping costs are clearly shown before the order is finalised. The prices displayed during the order process are decisive.
5. Payment methods
Payment is made online via our payment provider Stripe. We accept in particular credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), as well as Twint and Apple Pay where available through the Stripe infrastructure.
Payment data is transmitted only in encrypted form to Stripe and processed there under the applicable security standards. We ourselves do not store complete card or Twint data.
6. Shipping and delivery
We ship exclusively to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Orders with a delivery address outside this area cannot be fulfilled.
Delivery typically takes place within three to seven business days of receipt of payment. Delivery times are non-binding unless we have expressly confirmed a fixed date in writing. Delays for which we are not responsible (for example outages at shipping providers) do not entitle you to withdraw from the contract.
Risk passes to the customer when the parcel is handed over to the shipping provider.
7. Right of return
You may return unused kits and undamaged products within fourteen days of receipt without giving reasons. The date of shipment is decisive.
The goods must be unused, complete and in their original packaging. For soldering kits that have already been started or assembled, we may refuse the return or deduct an appropriate amount for any loss in value.
Return shipping costs are borne by you, unless the goods are defective or there was an error on our part. In those cases, we cover the return shipping.
Refunds are issued via the original payment method within fourteen days of receipt of the returned goods.
8. Warranty
We provide warranty for our products in line with the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO). The warranty period for new goods is two years from delivery.
In the event of a defect, you may demand repair, replacement, an appropriate reduction in price or rescission of the contract. Which of these remedies applies in a particular case is governed by the CO.
Please report obvious defects in writing to info@ect.ch within seven days of receipt. Hidden defects must be reported immediately upon discovery.
9. Repair and digitisation services
The following additional conditions apply to repair, digitisation and restoration work:
- An initial diagnosis and quotation are provided free of charge, unless we expressly state otherwise in a specific case.
- Orders are placed in writing on the basis of the previously issued quotation.
- Media and original items (e.g. tapes, films, vinyl records) are handled with the greatest possible care. Liability for material- or age-related damage that occurs independently of our work is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
- Items that are not collected may, following written reminder and the expiry of a reasonable period of at least three months, be stored at the customer's expense or properly disposed of.
10. Reservation of title
The delivered goods remain our property until the purchase price has been paid in full.
11. Limitation of liability
We are liable for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence by us or our auxiliary persons, and for damages where mandatory Swiss law provides for further liability.
Otherwise, our liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law. In particular, we are not liable for slight negligence, indirect damages, consequential damages or lost profits. Art. 100 CO applies.
For data loss during digitisation or repair work, we are liable only in the event of gross negligence or wilful intent. We recommend that you make backup copies of your media wherever possible before handing them over.
12. Data protection
The processing of personal data is governed by our privacy policy, available at ect.ch/legal/datenschutz.
13. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
Swiss law applies exclusively, to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these T&Cs is Solothurn, Switzerland, save where mandatory statutory venues provide otherwise.
14. Online dispute resolution
The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Since Enter Classic Technics AG ships exclusively to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, the ODR platform is generally not relevant to our business relationships. We are neither obliged nor, in principle, willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.
15. Force majeure
Events of force majeure that materially impede or prevent us from meeting our contractual obligations release us from the duty to deliver or perform for the duration of the event. Force majeure includes, in particular, natural events, pandemics, governmental measures, strikes, supply-chain disruptions and extensive failures of communication or shipping infrastructure. In such cases we will inform you without delay and agree a suitable solution.
16. Communication and language
The contract language is German. Where helpful, we will correspond in French or English as well; in case of doubt, the German version of these T&Cs prevails.
Our official communication usually takes place by email to the address you have provided. We recommend you mark our sender address @ect.ch as trusted in your email client so that our order confirmations and invoices reach you reliably.
17. Severability
If any provision of these T&Cs is or becomes wholly or partly invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The invalid provision is replaced by the permissible rule that comes closest to the economic purpose pursued by the invalid provision.
