Home computers of the 1980s and 1990s, from early games machines to early PCs and Macs. We repair the machine itself, not just the data on it. If you only want floppies or hard disks read out, we can help on the digitisation side instead.

Burnt-out voltage regulators in power supplies. Leaked backup batteries on mainboards that eat through the traces over time. Bulging or leaking capacitors. Failed floppy and hard disk drives. Corroded connectors and chip sockets.

We read 5.25" and 3.5" floppies on suitable hardware and export the data as a disk image or as extracted files on a USB stick. On damaged disks we attempt a recovery, but without any guarantee.

A flat CHF 80 for the first hour of diagnosis. For fault patterns we know well, we can often quote the repair cost over the phone. Workshop hourly rate: CHF 120. Spare parts at cost.

No software help for current systems: we are not PC support for Windows or macOS. No repairs on recent laptops or smartphones with glued-in batteries. No data recovery from encrypted media.

If you have the matching power supply, bring it. Label any storage media separately. Jot down briefly what last worked and when the fault appeared: it helps with the diagnosis.
