A handheld device that uses infrared to recognise which exhibit you are standing at and plays the matching track. Plus charging stations, a content system for the museum team, and updates rolled out across the whole device fleet.

We replace the electromechanics with control electronics of our own design: an AVR microcontroller, addressable LEDs and in-house solid state relays instead of switching contacts. From the outside the machine is unchanged, and standby consumption drops from 200 watts to 10.

A room-sized computer you walk through. Power supply, processor, motherboard, RAM, SSD, mouse and keyboard stand in the space as oversized stations. Start a program and you watch the data flow travel from component to component as a light signal.
